The BHS Philosophy
At BHS, we have incorporated the FISH!” Philosophy as part of our everyday work lives. The philosophy was born from the work ethic of the employees at the world-famous Pike Place Fish market in Seattle, WA. While working in a fish market may not seem too glamorous, the staff has made Pike Place – and the way they do business – a phenomenon. The work is hard and the hours are long—yet these employees make a personal choice to bring amazing passion, playfulness, commitment and a positive attitude to work every day.
BHS employees embody the same principles that made Pike Place a success, striving to bring a can-do attitude and generous amounts of enthusiasm to everything we do.
